The Book Drunkard Literary Festival

Guests joined award-winning writer, Ruth E. Walker, for a fun approach to developing characters for fiction, memoir and non-fiction work

Using the theme of recipes, participants tossed together a number of ingredients to create a character by the end of the session. Lots of hands-on exercises to experiment with character development and story ideas. The workshop was suitable for all levels of writers looking for a fresh take on inspiration and ran from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm.
