Attendees joined Alice Hoffman and the delightful Bianca Marais to celebrate the stunning conclusion to the bestselling Practical Magic series.

Alice Hoffman is well known for her portrayals of powerful women, from the Owens family of the Practical Magic series, to the survivors of the siege of Masada in The Dovekeepers. She is the author of more than thirty works of fiction, including Magic Lessons: The Prequel to Practical Magic, The World That We Knew, The Rules of Magic, The Marriage of Opposites, Practical Magic (a feature film starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman), The Red Garden, the Oprah’s Book Club selection Here on Earth, The Museum of Extraordinary Things, and The Dovekeepers.

Bianca Marais is our all-star interviewer and a fan favorite from our 2020 festival! Bianca is the author of the beloved Hum If You Don’t Know the Words and If You Want to Make God Laugh. She holds a certificate in creative writing from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies, where she teaches creative writing. Originally From South Africa, she now resides in Toronto with her husband.
