Penguin Random House Canada and The Book Drunkard Festival present: Lorna Crozier and Margaret Atwood
Zoom (virtual event) – $35 + HST (includes one book)
This is the event of the season—two giants of Canadian literature sharing one screen. Margaret Atwood and Lorna Crozier will discuss their latest books, Dearly and Through The Garden, with their publisher, McClelland & Stewart’s Jared Bland. Before Margaret Atwood became one of the most important writers of our time, she was a poet, and the masterful Dearly is her first collection of poems to be published in a decade. Lorna Crozier’s Through the Garden, a rare book of non-fiction by one of Canada’s most beloved and accomplished poets, is a deeply affecting portrait of a long partnership and a clear-eyed account of the impact of a serious illness, writing as consolation, and the enduring significance of poetry. We can’t even begin to imagine the conversation these longtime friends, both celebrating milestones in their long and storied careers, will have.
